Project Engineer in Mountain View, WY

Our company's primary target market is in rural areas making optimization of signal strength critical to consistently successful delivery of our services. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering and have a work history in RF cell site performance. The position will have input into site selection and the development of basic site engineering packages. Must be familiar with propagation modeling software and GSM, UMTS, LTE principles. Position will be based in Mountain View, Wyoming, but may require some travel in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Montana, and Idaho.

Qualifications
Experience in RF cell site design, and documentation preferred. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: analysis of market, network and coverage requirements to identify priority projects; assessment of cell performance using test equipment; road and geodesic studies to identify potential cell site locations, including operation of GPS equipment; operation of propagation software to estimate cell-site performance; cooperative work with right-of-way engineers to secure construction permits; and development of engineering packages that detail construction details of the cell site, including BTS configuration and antenna selection. The position requires an understanding of GSM, UMTS, LTE operation and RF cell site design. Other duties may be assigned.
Education
Bachelor of Science Degree(B.S.) in Engineering Electrical or Civil Engineering; or six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
Valid Driver's License
